When I was first discovering music I fell hard for the sorrowful singer-songwriter. I was drawn to the tragedy that surrounded them and found that that this feeling was transferred onto real people I met with real tragedy in their life. I found these people to be precious, alluring, I wanted to be close to them if only to be close to that feeling of sadness. This song is an attempt to hold myself accountable for this pattern.
